How Does That Work?
Your device is acting as a mini server, and your computer is connecting to it using your home WiFi network. No one outside your network can connect to it, and once you close the page on your device, the server is shut off. This means your data is completely secured and can't be accessed by anyone.

I Can't Download
Let's go through a quick checklist:
- Please make sure you don't have any symbols in the note titles such as #, *, @ etc.
- Are you keeping the download screen open on your iPhone/iPad while trying to download to your computer?
- Are you using the same WiFi network for your iPhone (iPhone/iPod/iPad) and your computer?
- if you are using the same WiFi, are you able to see the notes list, or are you getting a different message?
- One last thing to check - routers need a quick reboot once in a while, which can solve many network issues.
- If all of that does not work, you likely have a firewall installed either on your computer or on your router that is blocking, or you are on a public WiFi network which blocks this type of communication. For security reasons, you need to be on a home network. To test it out - try the download on a different computer or a different WiFi (like friends house)
