Sound Not Loud Enough

The app uses the iPhone/iPad’s built-in notification system to play sounds. Volume is managed automatically by the system, but occasionally it can glitch and play too quietly.

Try the following steps:

  1. Turn up your music volume using the volume buttons while in the Music app.

  2. To increase notification volume, you’ll need to press the volume up button while a notification sound is playing. It’s a bit tricky, but it’s the only way (Apple doesn’t allow this to be controlled from the app or system settings).

Here’s how to do it:

  • Start Day 1 of the program.

  • Skip forward past the warm-up.

  • Lock your screen (press the top/side button).

  • After exactly 1 minute, a notification sound will play. Press the volume up button right as it happens.

We know it’s not ideal, we’ve even filed a bug report with Apple about this. Thank you for your patience!
